Key Features
-
High Strength: The incorporation of fibers enhances X/Y strength (stiffness), making these filaments ideal for functional parts and prototypes that must endure real-world conditions.
-
Dimensional Stability: Maintains shape and accuracy during printing, ensuring high-quality results with minimal warping, similar minimal change when annealing for certain semi crystalline thermoplastic.
Product Range
We stock a diverse selection of fiber-reinforced options, including:
-
HT PLA GF
- High-temperature PLA from Polymaker reinforced with glass fibers, offering improved strength and heat resistance, ideal for durable prints that can withstand higher temperatures under minimal load with benefit its prints like any PLA without the need with enclosure.
-
PETG CF
- Carbon fiber reinforced PETG, improved excellent toughness and stiffness properties, making it suitable for semi professional functional parts that require additional chemical resistant/temperature resistant compare to PLA and less glossy finished compare to regular PETG.
-
PETG GF
- Glass fiber reinforced PETG for enhanced rigidity and impact resistance, perfect for applications needing both durability and ease of printing, similar to PETG CF but offer much more brighter/lighter colour option compare to CF but slightly lower toughness and stiffens mechanical properties.
-
PBT GF
- Glass fiber reinforced PBT, known for its excellent chemical resistance and dimensional stability, ideal for parts exposed to harsh environments. Its has low surface resistant, great for print in place temporarily replacement gears or mostly used for electronic connector housing for its frame resistant rating and chemical/oil resistant.
-
PC PBT GF
- A easier to print version of PBT GF with added PC, similar great dimensional stability and chemical resistant, ideal for functional parts.
-
ASA GF
- Glass fiber reinforced ASA, combining UV resistance of ASA with enhanced stiffness strength, easier to print with added GF to help with dimensional stability, perfect for outdoor applications where durability is crucial
-
ASA CF
- Carbon fiber reinforced ASA, combining UV resistance of ASA with enhanced stiffness strength, weatherability easier to print with added CF to help with dimensional stability, perfect for outdoor applications parts.
-
ABS GF
- Glass fiber reinforced ABS, improved toughness and improved temperature resistant under load, making it suitable for load bearing applications.
-
Polycarbonate (PC) CF
- Carbon fiber reinforced polycarbonate, delivering exceptional strength and heat resistant compare to ABS/ASA, ideal for both functional parts and prototyping with a great strength to weight ratio for brackets/housing.
-
PA6 (Nylon) CF
- Carbon fiber reinforced PA6 offers enhanced strength and rigidity while maintaining the flexibility of nylon, making it ideal for durable, high-performance parts. When used in load bearing situation annealing is recommended, may not be suitable for high moisture environment without sealing the printed part, as its sensitive to moisture and once absorbed moisture it can affect materials printablity and mechanically properties significantly.
-
PA12 (Nylon) CF
- This filament combines the toughness of PA12 with carbon fiber reinforcement, providing excellent impact resistance and dimensional stability for demanding applications. Its less moisture sensitive compare to PA6 but comes at cost of lower performance compare to PA6 (once annealed) in term of temperature resistant and strength but offer better dimensional stability and less creep.
-
PA612 (Nylon) GF
- Glass fiber reinforced PA612 enhances stiffness, impact resistant and high temperature resistant, making it suitable for structural applications that require enhanced durability with low moisture absorption, with much higher HDT compare to PA12/PA6 (after annealing).
-
PET CF / PET GF
- Carbon/Glass fiber reinforced PET provides an excellent balance of strength and flexibility and great dimensional stability under load at elevated temperature, you can improve temperature resistant and strength once annealed.
-
PPS CF
- Carbon fiber reinforced PPS(polyphenylene sulfide) delivers outstanding thermal stability and chemical resistance, making it perfect for high-temperature applications in demanding industrial environments, also feature low moisture absorption and flame retardant rating, which make best suitable for aerospace application.
-
PPA CF
- A premium Carbon fiber reinforced PPA (nylon based) offers superior mechanical properties and chemical resistance, making it an excellent choice for high-performance engineering/industrial applications.
