Great filament!

I've grabbed a few rolls of this stuff, and I gotta say, it holds up just as nicely as the official bambu filament on my a1 mini. Seems like it's like higher heat on a hardened steel hotend. Prints like a dream on the NG with my older Ender too, but didn't need cranking up the temperature like the bambu. Used the stock Orca slicer profile for the a1 mini, didn't have to tweak a thing, and my regular PLA profile worked like a charm on the Ender. Bonus points for throwing in a reusable bag too.

Great filament, easy to print with.

I thought I would give this a try, I usually use eSun pla+. Loaded in the eSun profile, did not change anything and I could not tell any difference between the filaments. I have a creality spider v3 so I printed this at 210c first layer and 200 for the remainder of the print with a bed temp at 60c. Great filament and it is extremely user friendly. Very happy with it.

Good stuff

There isn't much to add. The print surface is good, printable without problems. It nice to have spool weight on the spool.

He doesn’t carry bad filament

Pretty much everything I have tried wether dremc brand or one of the brands they carry has always had really good results and required minimal adjustments between each other to get the most out of them I print them on a high speed vz330 and everything I have played around with has been pretty good up to and beyond 500mms

Delivered promptly.
Quality of the filament not as good as other brands I have tried.
Needed to increase nozzle temp to 230 to print and bed temperatures 60 to stick.
Seems to absorb water faster than other brands.

Hi Andrew,

We're glad to hear that the delivery was prompt. We apologize for any inconvenience regarding your concern on the quality of the filament.

In regards to printing temperature, this vary dramatically depending on your hotend/printer, printing speed and chamber environment. Bed temperature can vary a lot depending on build surface and 60c is pretty normal for PLA for glass/pei build plates. Our faster profile for this material is around 220c, so not too out spec and there always some variance between actual printing temperature between hotend/machine due to placement of thermeristor on the hotend or sometimes different nozzle such as harden steel nozzle will require higher temperature compare to brass/plated copper nozzle. You can check our profile here [https://support.dremc.com.au/support/solutions/articles/51000343310-dremc-filament-3d-printing-profile].

In regards to moisture absorb rate, its can depend on your storage condition and all material will absorb moisture. This is especially the case with white filament due to the colour addictive its use. Its less of issues with most of other colours. We provided re-sealable maylar bag which you can use to reduce the absorb rate when left in storage. As usually with most PLA blends, the add modifier will increase absorb rate, as it can vary between vendor/manufacturer. We personally have no issue printing semi wet PLA that has been left in QLD humid conditions for couple of month apart from more stringing compare to normally. If stored within maylar bag provided with new/renewed desiccant we found material will keep same mechanical properties and same printing condition as from the bag.

I hope I have address those concern raise in your review. If you have any further concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Best regards,
DREMC
