Why does DREMC collect, hold, use and disclose personal information?
DREMC collects, holds, uses and discloses personal information for a number of purposes connected with our business operations, which include:
- providing you with products and/or services you have ordered/purchased;
- dealing with requests, enquiries, complaints, consumer guarantee or warranty claims, and other customer care related activities;
- marketing our products and services and providing advice on our products;

Please note that when you create an order with us your details by default the checkout box is ticked for marketing so your email/name will be added to our marketing database to receive information relating to DREMC and our products. To opt-out of receiving DREMC marketing materials, you will need to unsubscribe from our marketing database.

Please note that if you have an account with DREMC, we may still need to send you essential information about your account. - SMS: When we send you marketing communications by SMS you will be able to opt-out from SMS marketing by texting STOP to the number in the SMS we sent you.

Log Files
DREMC follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
Automatic decision-making
If you are a resident of the EEA, you have the right to object to processing based solely on automated decision-making (which includes profiling), when that decision-making has a legal effect on you or otherwise significantly affects you.
We DO NOT engage in fully automated decision-making that has a legal or otherwise significant effect using customer data.
Our processor Shopify uses limited automated decision-making to prevent fraud that does not have a legal or otherwise significant effect on you.
Services that include elements of automated decision-making include:
- Temporary denylist of IP addresses associated with repeated failed transactions. This denylist persists for a small number of hours.
- Temporary denylist of credit cards associated with denylisted IP addresses. This denylist persists for a small number of days.
Your Rights
You can request us to deleted all information associated to an account (email) by sending us email to support@dremc.com.au with your request. Do note, we may take 30-120 days to fulfilled this request as some data processors require 120 days to process request. Some basic information will remain such as order number and what product was ordered and order amount for instance basic information for Australia tax purposes. Do note, after this request we cannot process any warranty/support request unless you have original invoice.
Cookies
