Description
The Creality Sonic Pad provides users with a full suite of Klipper’s unique features including high print quality and speed, resonance compensation (input shaping X Axis only via macro, user need to web UI to calibrate X/Y independently), pressure/linear advance and flexible macros.
Klipper’s complex installation process has been a pain point that hinders many 3D printing beginners from trying out this powerful firmware. The Creality Sonic Pad can connect to almost any FDM 3D printer available on the market via a USB cable. Besides. Sonic Pad upports user-defined programmable macros, for a personalized function.
Currently this is only compatible with Ender 3 S1, Ender 3 S1 Pro, Ender 3 v2 [Last Updated 28/09/22]. [4/11/2022] After updating to latest software(V1.0.6.32.85) the sonic pad now supports the following printers: CR-10S Pro V2(ATMEGA2560), CR10 V3 (ATMEGA2560), CR10 Smart (STM32F401RET6), CR10 Smart (STM32F103RET6), Ender 3 V2 Neo, Ender 3 Max, Ender 3 Pro, Ender 3 S1 Plus [NOTE: Please confirm mainboard chipset is supported] Full Supported list on our support article: https://support.dremc.com.au/en/support/solutions/articles/51000321087-creality-sonic-pad
Please note, we can only offer official support for these printers listed printer official mainboard, if you need help integration with your custom printer/mainboard please contact support for consulting quote. Warning: When using on un-supported printer with klipper flashed initially, don't plug your USB to Sonic Pad until you have setup or loaded a different klipper printer.cfg as default ender 3 is loaded by default can is known to turn on heater and can cause damaged to your printer and safely due to some board have heater pin same as Creality Ender 3 limit switch pin.
Update: Issue has been fixed, we do recommended updating sonic pad via setting (OTA) before going ahead with any install.

Note: We suggest sourcing a USB Type C cable if your printer mainboard connection is Type C. As include kit is using Micro B to Type C which can cause some stability issues.

- The Sonic Pad supports sliced model preview when using Creality Print, other slicer require configuration and may only work in WEB UI and not the tablet.

- RJ45 Ethernet port and one WiFi module, enabling remote control of printers.
A camera module which users can buy separately with the tablet is available for real-time monitoring and time-lapse photography, unleashing more creativity. Not all USB webcam is support. Tested community member verified: Logitech C615, C920 Aluratek 4K
