Description

This is an all metal hotend upgrade kit for Flashforge Finder and Flashforge Guider 2.  All metal hotend will let you print at much higher temperature than possible with original PTFE lined one. Another benefit of an all metal hotend design is more consistent melt chamber control. During slow extrusion rate, in PTFE lined hotend, transition zone from solid to molten plastic tends to creep upward creating more stringy prints. With all metal design a transition zone is always constant, being located right at the heat break. With fast extrusion rate, PTFE tube doesn't have enough thermal conductivity to properly melt all the plastic coming out.  All metal hotend solves this problem, plastic is surrounded by thermally conductive nozzle throughout its length.

Kit includes

  • 1 Plated Brass Wear Resistant Nozzle (0.4mm)
  • 1 Thermal Tube
  • 2 Jam Nuts (To aid in removing old hotend)

Supported Devices:

  • FlashForge Finder
  • FlashForge Inventor 2
  • FlashForge Guider 2 (Older version, without metal plate over the heater block) *Will NOT fit HT Hotend (Standard Hotend Only)
  • FlashForge Guider 2S *Will NOT fit HT Hotend (Standard Hotend Only)
  • Dremel 3D40 Idea Builder

Micro Swiss has issues

Installed Micro Swiss Hotend Kit for Flashforge Guider 2s and in trying to set Z axis the system tore up the build plate sticker before I could stop it. This then damaged the nozzle forcing a $25 nozzle replacement. The install video doesn't show a guider install and the differences are significant. Four hours later it works. Pain in the arse.

Hi, really sorry to hear about the install issues with 2S, If you ever have any questions or concerns regarding a product install please reach out to our support at support@dremc.com.au or you can always contact Micro Swiss directly if you wish. Many manufacturers like to release new updates with mirror changes which can effect compatibility or install process if Manufacturers provided resources differ to your printer is always best to contact us or the Manufacturers before preceding with install.

Our support team have reach out to confirm a nozzle size for a replacement nozzle as we currently don't have 0.4mm MK10, only 0.6 or 0.8mm available locally.

Thanks DREMC Team
