Update: On February 7, the duty-free de minimis treatment for products with country of origin from China and Hong Kong is reinstated. Accordingly, at the current juncture, shipments with duty-free treatment (less than USD 800 declared value) will no longer be charged the additional 10% tariff on the product with the country of origin from China and Hong Kong. This mean at this time, order under $800 USD should not be charged duty but this can change in future, please keep a eye out for updated information. As the situation is fluid, please check with local regulators and customs for more information and clarification.

TDLR: Additional Duties on imports to the US

We stock products from various regions, and while some originate from China, customers ordering from our store may incur additional charges as we are based in Australia.

The recent changes to Section 321 De Minimis mean that all orders, even those under $800 USD, are now subject to inspection. For most 3D printer-related HS Codes (8443.91), duty and taxes should remain at 0% if the item is not manufactured in China, Mexico, Canada, or other countries subject to U.S. tariffs. However, processing fees may still be applied by each courier. As the situation is fluid, please check with local regulators and customs for more information and clarification.

Previously, before 4th February, this was not a major issue for smaller orders, as long as they did not exceed $800 USD (approximately $1,270 AUD) in value. There should have been duty or taxes or tariffs(additional duties) required.

This change was affect on 4th February 2025.
